Neeru Yadav, a dedicated and active Panchayat member of Lambi Ahir village, has made significant efforts for the improvement and development of the cremation ground of her Panchayat. The cremation ground is an important place for the village, where villagers cremate their loved ones. Despite this, the place often remains disorganized and neglected due to lack of facilities. #Status of crematorium The condition of the cremation ground of Lambi Ahir village was quite bad earlier. There was a lack of basic amenities, such as shade, seating arrangements, and water facilities. During the rainy season, the place became muddy and dirty, making it difficult to go there. Due to all these problems the villagers had to face a lot of difficulties. Contribution of Neeru Yadav Neeru Yadav understood these problems and took steps to improve the condition of the cremation ground. He worked with the Panchayat and the local community to formulate a plan and arrange the necessary resources. Following are the main points of their efforts: 1. Cleaning and Repair: The work of cleaning and repairing the cremation ground was done first. Regular cleaning operations were carried out to remove dirt and mud and level the site. 2. Creation of infrastructure: Neeru Yadav constructed a shed for shade at the cremation ground so that the people present at the funeral could be protected from the sun and rain. Along with this, seating arrangements and water facilities were also provided. 3. Greening and Beautification: Saplings were planted and greenery was increased around the cremation ground. This not only beautified the place but also benefited the environment. 4. Awareness Campaign: Neeru Yadav ran campaigns to spread awareness among villagers about the importance of cleanliness and care of cremation grounds. He motivated the community members to cooperate in regular maintenance and cleaning of the cremation ground.
